The views from this hotel are magnificent and the evening meal was excellent with delicious and unusual meals in the menu and we would recommend this hotel

My only real negative comment regards finding the hotel. If you do not see the first sign when you arrive in Guarga indicating the direction to find the hotel you could spend all day looking for it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Given this is near Porto they could offer a wider and better selection of Port to drink either as an aperitif or with the cheese. Their cheese selection was both unusual and excellent.
