Hotel was right on the airport train line and was well presented with friendly staff who went out of their way to help. Only downside was a very small room.

The hotel has a very good location and its rooms are very very tiny and the staff here really needs some training in customer care and we had breakfast inculded in our package but if you dont have it please avoid it.

This hotel was very average overall, the room was tiny and the house keeping was below average. I probably wouldn't stay again.

MRT and food court is only 3 mins walk. Room is small, shower door is not sealing, so you get a wet floor each time you have a shower. No free WiFi, it costs SGD 10.

Easy access. Good location. Excellent room. No complaints. You should see the Marina Bay Gardens and Domes, easy to reach by MRT

About the location - very convenient location. The MRT ride from airport to hotel is only 20 mins, with one changeover. Hotel is right above the station. There's a fastfood at the vicinity (Wendy's), pharmacy, 24 hr food court selling local food, snack shops, and a 24 hr convenience store. Buy the EZLink card to explore the city by MRT/bus. The MRT has stops at all the tourist attractions. About the hotel - nothing to shout about. Rooms are very small, but clean. I took the premier room, but it's not spacious. The bathroom is even smaller. I'm small size, and I keep knocking myself on the shower wall & door. I can't imagine a bigger size person in the shower. Bathroom amenities are very minimal. Bring your own toiletries. Hotel only provides 2 bath towels. No hand/face towels. Hotel is always busy. Lots of tourist groups. There are 5 working lifts. So far I did not experience any long queues for the lift. Very fast check-in & check-out. One negative point - wifi is not free. It costs SGD10 for 24 hours, and it starts counting after your first login whether you use it after that. Generally it's an ok hotel, good value for money & good location. I'd recommend for solo travellers & tourists.

Room very small including shower and bathroom generally. No mirror,or bed side light or clock in bedroom. hair dryer fixed to drawer in bedroom where there is no mirror and you need to sit to use if you are average height or taller. Not informed by staff to purchase breakfast token before going to breakfast, hence time wasted. best thing was the station being underneath.

V hotel is most suitable for tourists on a free n easy holiday in Singapore. Situated above the MRT station, you can explore the island without burning-a-hole in your pocket for transportation expenses. Only problem is with the lifts. Because of it popularity, the occupancy rate is high and there's waiting time for the lifts. Tips of the day: don't wait till the last half hour to go down for checking-out.

The bathing area is quite small. It is difficulty to have a normal bath for a fat or large body size person.

if space is an issue at least make everything else better to compensate. in this day and age i think this is one of the VERY FEW hotels that doesnt provide their customers free WiFi - i mean even a telephone box in HK says "free WiFi". and there needs to be two bins in the room - especially the one that didn't exist in the bathroom. there are somethings that just doesnt need to appear a bin where people sleep/eat/entertain visitors. and what's with "tissues" in Singapore ( and many Asian countries)? I am sure the large percentage of guess that stay in hotels in Singapore re foreigners and not Singaporeans who are used to bringing tissue everywhere even to the toilets - so if you want your guests to enjoy their stay at least give them t`issues to use in the hotel and not just a toilet roll. the rooms are not child/children friendly - because they dont provide cots as there is no space for them. i can understand sharing the bed with your child but if you have more then 1 then someone doesnt sleep. there is no space to bring your own portacot unless it is very small when you open it up - e.g. fits a 0-3 months baby only. but if you just need a place to sleep and dont care for any simple things that you take for granted at other countries then this place is ok as it is at a convenient location for MRT and there are cheap foods very close by - even a 24hour food court for sudden cravings.

Small rooms but decor was fine.Terrible view of hotel next door. Fantastic location right next to MRT. Cleaning staff took nightie from bed with sheets and the manager was right on to it-very apologetic, given breakfast for next 2 days of our stay and a lovely book on Singapore AND the nightie was found and returned-couldn't ask for more!!

I booked my wife this hotel, we both are used to work at The Jakarta Mandarin and Hyatt, she told me that this hotel is excellent, some people do complaints a lot not having this and that, bathroom too small, receptionist not friendly, my wife found the stay are friendly and accommodating, OK wc is small, but she said she is not going to Spore to be in the wc or in the room and for $120 per night what else you want...it has MRT downstairs, if you want a large wc, a large room, excellent restaurant then go to the Hyatt and pay $400-500, if you want extra friendly staffs, go the Hyatt or Four Seasons....then you have your own butler......

If you need prime location with no frills, this is the best i've ever stay. Room was small, clean and shower has good pressure. Just right above Lavender station so it was so very easy to explore Singapore. Food court 24 hours kopitiam and many more just beside hotel. Overall will be back for business or pleasure without kids.
