Just got back I have good things to say as well as bad but thats going to happen at any resort . 1 st t the location is great its like in its own gated community so its very safe . The resort liquor is not bad and some is top shelf where as in some resorts they give out only the cheap stuff. Now the bad my room my balcony door was broke it would not close completey it was a ant problem and I saw a 3 inch roach in the room . After the bug problems I kept a towel under the door and that seem to work . Also to make the electricity come on u must put ur room key in a slot when you leave the room the air will be off, roll up a little piece off paper put it in and your air will stay on .

Rooms and pool OK, the beach was fantastic, the staff was great, but the gym was poor (equipment needs to be updated and more of them and gym needs to be opened earlier), the food also was good, but the coffee needs to be brewed coffee. The fruits and vegetables were really appreciated. It was wonderful to be close to the airport. The kitchen staff was great, waiters and servers. The restaurants great.

My new wife and I had a fantastic time the weather was amazing. The room was great and well maintained. The food was good and plentiful whenever we were hungry. The staff was great and had superb attitudes. Very pleasant and friendly. Overall we would def come back again and enjoy the stay.

This is the best hotel in the Playa Dorada tourist complex. Not luxurious by western standards but nothing is too much trouble for the staff, it is clean, there is always a minimum of 8 choices in the buffet restaurant and it is not far from the plaza bars and clubs.
