Great room, great hotel, great staff! We received complimentary champagne for traveling 26 hours to get there!!! Breakfast is one of the best I've had - quality over quantity. The location is an easy 5 min walk from Puerto del Sol, the old quarter is right behind the hotel, the train station is really close and shopping in the Salamanca area is also within walking distance. Museums are also close by. We loved Madrid and part of the reason I think is due to the hotel!!
