Location
The Universo e Nord is one hundred metres from the Santa Lucia railway station and three hundred metres from Piazza Roma. Surrounded by bars and restaurants, it is close to the pier where vaporetti travel to St Marks Square and Rialto Bridge.
Rooms
The Universo e Nord has sixty relaxing and comfortable rooms overlooking the Lista di Spagna, inner corte, or the Grand Canal. All rooms feature air conditioning, colour TV, mini bar and hairdryer.
Restaurant
Every morning a continental buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast hall on the ground floor. Lunch and dinner can be taken in any of the cafe's and restaurants nearby.

Venice is always expensive. This hotel lived up to its 3* rating so we did not mind the price.

No outside view in close proximity to train station and therefore easily accessible. Staff helpful though at times English a little limited but they did their best

no kettle... very good location from Venicia SL train station... breakfast was ok.

Hotel very well situated close to the train station. You can reach everywhere by foot or by vaporretto.Rooms are small but clean.I recommend this hotel for its price if you compare with another hotels in Venice.Basic breakfast . 11/11/2008
