Getting There

Washington, D.C. features some of the best public transportation in America, making the National Air and Space Museum easy to reach. The building is located in the National Mall, near several metro stops along the Blue, Orange, Yellow and Green lines. The closest MetroRail stops are the L’Enfant Plaza station and the Smithsonian station, both of which are within a short walk of the museum. There is ground transportation directly to the National Air and Space Museum from all of the major airports in the area, including the Baltimore-Washington International Airport and Washington-Dulles Airport.
