Getting There & Around
There are three airports on South Padre Island, TX, all of which service Dallas and Houston. The island connects to Port Isabel in mainland Texas via State Route 100, on which you can drive or take a bus. If you have your own boat, you can dock at the marina as well.
The Wave is a free public bus that spans the island's single main road, Padre Blvd, and stops in Port Isabel.
