General Information

A location on the shores of Lake Erie provide the small city of Sandusky, Ohio with a lot of inherent charm and appeal. At the midway point between Toledo and Cleveland, the former British military outpost, with a metro population of over 75,000 people, has some notable points of interest. The most popular by far is Cedar Point, a massive amusement park built on a peninsula that juts onto Lake Erie. The park holds some impressive world records, from most roller coasters to most overall rides and even offers visitors access to a mile-long white sand beach and two waterparks. Most experts consider Cedar Point to be the best amusement park in the world but the ultimate proof is in the more than 3 million people who come through Sandusky to visit the park every year, on average.
