The Midtown Manhattan Beaux-Arts railway terminal at 42nd Street and Park Avenue has more platforms than any other station on the planet. All told, Grand Central has 44 platforms and 67 tracks in total. As a result, the famous landmark is a vibrant Big Apple focal point. Although the current terminal was built in the early 20th century, Grand Central itself dates back to 1871.
