Boating Excursions from the Bayside Marketplace
Watching the cruise ships sail in and out of the Port of Miami is a pastime enjoyed by many of the Bayside Marketplace visitors, and the Marketplace itself has a marina from which the 61-meter yacht Casino Princesa sails twice a day on a four and a half hour gambling cruise to just past the three-mile limit. $5.95 USD will buy a seat at the table. The Marketplace can also arrange for a variety of other boating excursions.
Shopping, Dining, and Relaxing at the Bayside Marketplace
The Bayside Marketplace is a collection of more than a hundred chain and boutique retailers, and Spanish is the language of choice in many of the boutiques, so come prepared. The Latin theme carries over into the selection of bayside marketplace restaurants; establishments like Hooters and the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company compete with the Nicaraguan, Argentinean, and Cuban fare of Los Ranchos, The Knife, and the Latin American Cafeteria.
The Bayside Marketplace is known for its live music, and during the summer offers free concerts on Thursday evenings at its marina. The concerts feature both international and local Latin bands and continue until late September. The music continues from 7:30 to 11:00 PM.
