Getting There

Although the Los Angeles Hollywood Sign is easy to see from various points in the neighbourhood, the only way to reach the actual site is on foot. From U.S. Highway 101, exit on Gower Street and turn north on Beachwood Drive. The drive will end at Sunset Hollywood Ranch, where drivers must leave their vehicles and continue along the dirt trails leading up to the Hollywood Sign. The sign itself is visible from a number of locations, including Highway 101 from Santa Monica Blvd to Sunset Boulevard, The Griffith Park Observatory, and the corner of Hollywood and Highland.
