• Go see a show: tickets Hollywood Bowl events are some of the hottest in Los Angeles, but if you are seated on the bleachers or the stadium style "super seats" you may want to rent a seat cushion for the duration.

Getting There

While most of Los Angeles is difficult to get to by public transportation, crowded buses and subways that don't quite extend far enough, the Hollywood bowl is a pleasant exception. Located just north of Hollywood Boulevard and the Hollywood & Highland subway station, getting here is actually easy, even without a car. Since parking is limited at the Bowl itself, this is a good thing. But if you're driving yourself, it's just south of Route 101 on North Highland Avenue, and there is plenty of parking available just a ways off with shuttle buses and park and ride services available.
