Las Cruces Climate
Las Cruces sits in an extremely arid region of the southwestern United States. The summer highs exceed 40ºC on numerous occasions, and this heat is only sometimes alleviated by the slightly increased rainfall during these months. Winter nights only occasionally get cold enough to leave frost on the ground.
Getting There & Around
Fly into El Paso International Airport and take the I-10 north for about 70 km. If you don't have access to a car, you can take a shuttle to the Greyhound bus station in downtown El Paso. They have several daily runs to town.
Like many American towns, Las Cruces is designed for car drivers. There is some limited public transportation in the Roadrunner transit system.
