Lake Forest Climate
Lake Forest has a very moderate climate without huge fluctuations in temperature. Winter has significantly more precipitation than the summer. Winter average temperatures hover around 4.5°C. Summer highs rarely exceed 26.7°C. This makes any time of year a good time to enjoy the area.
Getting There & Around
Visitors to Lake Forest land at either John Wayne Airport or LAX. Taxis are available at the airports, as are rental cars. Some hotels may offer shuttle services if you ask in advance. To drive there, you can access El Toro road from either Highway 405 or 241.
Southern California is not known for its public transportation. There are buses, but they tend to take twice the time to get from place to place. The best bet is to drive. Taxis are available, but they are expensive.
