Getting There & Around
The following three airports are located near Irving: Alliance Airport, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Fort Worth Meacham International Airport (FTW). There are shuttles, taxis and limousine services available at all three.
The city is serviced by DART, which is the mass-transit system in the area. The Trinity Railway Express, which operates a rail link between Fort Worth and Dallas, makes two stops in town. Visitors can also get around the city by car, and the area is easily accessed by Texas State Highway 183, which connects to both I-35W and I-35E that lead to other interstates.
