Green River Climate
South of Salt Lake City, Green River features variations in temperatures between seasons. In the summer, the average temperatures reach 90°F (32°C) most days, while others surpass that and get to around 95°F (35°C). However, with such low humidity, the heated days are quite comfortable. As for winters, December through February, the days and nights are cold at or below 32°F (0°C).
Getting There & Around
To get to the city by plane, visitors will need to arrive in Salt Lake City. From the airport, visitors can drive to Green River by rental car to reach the city and accommodations. By train, Amtrak provides service to Green River Station with the California Zephyr.
To get around the city, tourists will utilize rental cars. Driving will allow visitors to reach national parks and farther destinations at their own pace.
