Fargo Climate
Fargo has long, cold winters and warm summers. Temperatures reach 90°F (32°C) during the summer months of June through August and drop to 0°F (-18°C) and below during the winter months of December through to March. Snowfall averages 46 inches (1,168 mm) per season, and annual precipitation measures 21 inches (533 mm).
Getting There & Around
Fargo is a hub for the surrounding region. It sits at the crossroads of major interstates 29 and 94 and is home to Hector International Airport. The city can also be reached by Amtrak’s Empire Builder train. Accommodations can be reached by hired car, bus or taxi from the train station or airport.
Getting about the city can easily be done with public transportation provided by Fargo Moorhead Metro Area Transit (MAT). The street system is a classic grid pattern, making driving simple to navigate.
