Estes Park Climate
The climate in Estes Park is cool. The average maximum temperature in July is just above 25ºC, while the lowest winter average is just above freezing in January. It receives more than 850 mm of snow per year, mostly in the months between November and April.
Getting There & Around
Denver International Airport is the airport closest to Estes Park. After taking the E-470 toll road west, merge onto Interstate 25 and follow it north for 24 km. Then turn west onto state road 66 and follow it all the way to Estes Park.
The city has a new shuttle system that takes visitors to some major points of interest, including the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Since the town is so small, walking is a good option.
