In winter, the highs and lows average 20°C (68°F) down to 9°C (48°F). The rains come to Corpus Christi in the spring, and precipitation increases to an average of around 105 mm (4 inches) during this season.
Summer is the season to go if you’re longing for a traditional beach holiday, but the cooler weather in spring is a great time to see the rest of the exciting attractions that Corpus Christi has to offer. Getting There
Corpus Christi International Airport is located 9 kilometres (6 miles) from the city, and is serviced by several major U.S. airlines. Rental cars and taxis are available for the journey to town, and most hotels offer shuttle services to and from the airport.
The Trolley Public Bus system is a reasonably priced, reliable way to commute around Corpus Christi, although there are many taxis available if you’re in a hurry. The city is small, and it’s possible to walk between hotels and attractions much of the time.
There is a Greyhound Bus station in town to travel within the state, or, if you prefer train travel, Amtrak provides service to San Antonio with a regular connecting bus shuttle service to Corpus Christi.
