Cody Climate
Cody experiences a semi-arid climate with relatively low humidity and a wide range of temperatures across the year. In the summer temperatures can reach as high as 38ºC and dip as low as -12ºC in the wintertime, with very little rainfall during any season.
Getting There & Around
Travellers coming to Cody will most likely arrive at the Yellowstone Regional Airport. LP Transportation offers shuttle service from the airport to visitors' final destinations. Taxis are also available for those who prefer that option.
Tourists will be able to explore Cody and surrounding areas using one of the three local bus transit companies. While Phidippides Shuttle Service and LP Transportation offer full-service transportation in town and the surrounding areas, Cody Over Land only serves destinations within the city during the months from June through September.
