Aurora, CO
Aurora, Colorado, is so large that it spans three different counties of the larger Denver metro area, but a good portion is preserved in nature parks, open wild reserves and golf courses, so the city is not dominated by urban sprawl. Denver International is the closest airport to Aurora, which is a 15 km drive. Interstates 70 and 225 and the E-470 beltway run through this town. You can rent a car from any major company at the airport or in the local area, but be cautious of snow and ice during winter travel.
There is a local bus system managed by RTD, but most visitors prefer to drive due to the size of this city. There is also a regional light rail service.
