Summers in Wrexham are warm and sunny with highs around 19-22°C, whilst winters are cold and wet with lows around 1-2°C. Monthly rainfall from December to March is around 15-17 cm, whilst the rest of the year only sees about 8-10 cm per month. While freezing temperatures are not common, snow and sleet still occur.

Wrexham is serviced by the airports in Manchester and Liverpool, which are both an hour's drive from the town. Numerous train and bus lines offer routes into Wrexham, and the A5 and A55 motorways connect to the town.
You can get around quickly and conveniently in town using the trains that run from Wrexham General Station or the buses from its newly built terminal. There are taxis available for short distances as well.
