Isle of Man Hotels

Close to one-third of the Isle of Man’s population resides in the capital, Douglas. The commercial, transport and cultural heart of the island hosts the wildly popular International Isle of Man Tourist Trophy Race every May. The motorcycle event lures tens of thousands of race fans to Douglas and transforms the relatively tranquil town into a frenetic hive of activity. As a result, some prefer to visit the Isle of Man outside of TT Race season, in order to roam about sans hassles. Major points of interest to discover on the island include the Manx Museum in Douglas, Peel Castle, House of Manannan and the Manx Military and Aviation Museum. Where the Isle of Man is most enjoyable and picturesque however, is in the many glens, wetlands, hills and low mountains that dot the island.
