Getting There & Around

You can drive to Bury St Edmunds from Birmingham or Felixstowe using the A14, which will also connect you to London via the M11 and A11. These three cities also contain the nearest airports. There are numerous buses and trains from major cities throughout England and Scotland to Bury St Edmunds, and the seaport is only 67 km away.

You can walk anywhere in compact Bury St Edmunds in around 45 minutes. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the town is primarily pedestrian accessible. You can hire bicycles in town as well.
