Kiev Climate

Kiev’s climate is humid and includes four distinct seasons. June through August display summer temperatures of 58°F to 78°F (14°C to 26°C), while winter temperatures during December through February drop to about 24°F (-4.4°C). Snowfall usually occurs from mid-November through the beginning of April.

Getting There & Around

By air, travellers arrive in Kiev through either the Boryspil or the Zhulyany Airports. The Boryspil is the largest and services many international airlines, whereas the Zhulyany has more domestic flights.

Public transportation in the city is very modern and includes the Kiev Metro. There are also buses, trolleys and trams to get visitors all over the area and surrounding towns. The Metro is the fastest form of transportation and covers almost the entire city.
