U Prince Hotel Prague
4.8 out of 5

.Lovely hotel, full of charm, located in the main square, very near to the astrological clock The rooms were individually styled, on the large side and the in -room facilities good. The staff were very helpful and friendly - the receptionists were particularly helpful and well informed Breakfast was excellent quality. The terrace restaurant is worth a visit -the views are stunning . The only downside was, that because of the central location, it was noisy at night , mostly because of people in the Square but also the nightclub next door, although this appeared to close in at 12.30am. I would certainly recommend it to other travellers.

I had a memorable stay at this unique and popular hotel. Very ideally located. Great restaurant, centuries old ambiance, friendly and accomodating staff make this hotel highly recommended.

We knew the U Prince having eaten there on a previous visit to Prague so knew it was ideally located. Our rooms (Junior Suites) were excellent (although hot), there was plenty of space and the facilities in the room were v good. The Hotel breakfast, although adequate and OK, was not as good as other Prague hotels we have stayed in. The drinks in the bar were also priced high. We enjoyed an excellent new year's party at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone, with the one small reservation re breakfast. On a general note we found Prague relatively expensive this time.

The twin rooms are small as they are in the `attic', Housekeeping did not clean our room until 1500 hours and the food in the restaurant could be a little more varied. Having said that, we will stay there again as I travelled with my 83 year old mother and it is a very convenient location.

Fantasic hotel in an excellent right on the old Town Square. The staff are courteous, polite and attentive; the food was excellent. Would recommend it most highly and will definitely return

Expect late night noise from revellers crossing the town square and, of course, the hourly chiming of the astonomical clock. On balance, worth putting up with for the location, unless you're a very light sleeper. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, particularly those more fluent in English.

Ideal location for sightseeing. Rooftop bar was excellent, even in December! Lots of heaters up there, so view over old town was a pleasure to look over. Bar and food in hotel were also very good, would recommend and visit again.

A comfortable hotel but highly priced for the facilities and service offered in comparison with international standards, including the most expensive, like London of Japan. Prague attracts many tourists and it seems that the market allows hotels to charge rather high prices and still fill up.

Good hotel but beware pricing in bar. Staff not very helpful in bar and prices varied depending on who served you. Breakfast good and location fine. Steps up into bathroom which can be a bit hazardous and shower not great

the location, right in the Old square is wonderful. The hotel is beautifully decorated in individual style. Far better than run of the mill hotels. The food, as far as it goes, was some of the best. I would certainly go again

we loved this hotel it was brilliantly located the service was excellent.the overall cleanliness was very good, my only negative point was that the cleaners hadny leaned under our bed for what appeared a very long time, i found a broken remote control two pairs of sox underwear and plenty of dust. Apart from that we would definately stay here again the roof terrace was superb and the food looked exactly as it did on the menu and was very quick 9/10

Super location in old town, if you like hotel with an old fashion elegant look this is the place. Breakfast with bacon and egg, ham, cheese etc but I miss tomatoes or cucumber.

Excellant location, room, good food, weel stocked bar. Jazz band every night in the bar area. Great view from the roof terrace. I also had a free upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the square towards the Astronomical Clock. I would recommend this hotel.

Great location. Staff was very responsive. The roof terrace is the best view 360 degrees of Prague in the city. Great Food at the restuarant. Free Internet access. Note: Our room had the Bedroom in a loft and you must be willing to do the 20 stairs up and down, as the bathroom and dressing area is down below. We would definetly stay here again when we return.

Overall very good but you do pay for the location. The taxies have to park a little (30m) from the entrance. The lift to the reception is at the back on the ground floor.
