Turvan Hotel Istanbul Guest Reviews
Friendly staff, ideally placed little hotel. Was first placed in a double room in only decent condition but transferred to another, tidier room without prior notification. That room's renovation was still unfinished at that time, but it didn't bother me since the hotel was otherwise ok and the staff was always friendly.

Hotel well located in old quarter of Istanbul. Within walking distance of all major attractions. Staff very helpful. Hotel rooms small, but clean, cosy and quiet. Good breakfast selection, even provided turkish delight.

We stayed one night at Turvan Hotel, in a 4 bedroomed room. It is an old simple hotel, tucked in between restaurants and shops. It is very central and the hotel staff were friendly. Fine for a weekend sightseeing.

Very friendly staff and a good breakfast, but while the public areas have been done up a bit, the rooms are a bit basic and tired. Could do with complete new wallpaper, painting, curtains, and so forth. If you are on a budget and don't care too much then this is fine and within 10 mins of Topkapi, etc. If you want to impress the girlfriend or Mrs then you will need to spend a bit more elsewhere.
