Datca Climate
The Mediterranean climate of Datca features hot summers with peak temperature of 34-36ºC from July through August, and mild winters with lows around 4-6ºC. The winter months of December through February receive 9-13 cm of rain per month, while the rest of the year, especially summertime, is significantly drier.
Getting There & Around
The nearest airport is 44 km away in Bodrum, which also has a seaport that is a 15-minute drive from Datca. You can take a coach bus from Istanbul, but you may have to stop in Marmaris to change buses. Road number D400 is the only road that connects these cities.
You can get around using the local dolmuş, which are cheap shared taxis that follow fixed routes.
