The Manavgat waterfalls and thermal baths at Pamukkale are more fun and relaxing sites to visit as well. Although compact, the town does have various shopping and cafés for tourists to enjoy while on vacation. Belek is the perfect holiday pick for those looking for everything from lazy days to adventurous outings.
When To Go
Belek is known for endless summer seasons that last about eight to nine months. The climate in Belek is considered Mediterranean with dry hot summers and rainy winters. Sunshine is abundant in the months of April through October. The winters are mild and rainy, and last from December through March. The humidity is a little high, above 60 per cent, and the water temperature is usually around 21°C (70°F).

Getting There
By plane, Belek can be reached through flights coming into Turkey at the Antalya International Airport. The airport is big and modern and is located 13 km (8 miles) to the northeast of Antalya’s city centre. This airport is considered Turkey’s primary transportation hub for getting visitors to and from the Mediterranean coast.
To reach Belek by train, the journey will be via the Turkish Railways. From Istanbul and major cities in Europe, the trains will come to several train stations in the area; however, transportation to Belek will need to be made by car or bus.
There are long-distance bus services between Turkey and cities such as Austria, France, Holland, Germany and Switzerland, as well as Greece and the Middle East.
