The Tulip Inn Copacabana is 15 km from the city centre, and only a 30-40 minute drive from the Galeao International Airport. You have easy access to both Copacabana beach and Ipanema beach.

Tulip Inn Copacabana Guest Reviews
I made a reservation for one night at this hotel. I show up and the front desk staff told me their was a problem at the hotel and they did not have a room for me and they were sending me to their sister hotel "much nicer, 4 stars, better room, we pay for your taxi". Whatever, I just rocked a 14 hour flight to get there, what else am I supposed to do? So I go to the other hotel and its in a way worse location and it certainly isnt 4 stars and my room was far from sweet and instead of being able to walk everywhere i wanted to go I had to take a 15 reais taxi ride. bogus.

Small rooms, good location. Breakfast was good, service pretty average. Expensive for what you get but then this is Copacabana.

The rooms need updating and some of the rooms have little or no view which is disappointing when the hotel is located on Copacabana beach - perhaps these rooms should be cheaper in price. We were able to swap to rooms with views of Copacabana - from my initial room, I was unable to see the sky let alone the beach. The service and friendliness of staff could not be faulted and more than made up for any disappointment about the rooms.

This hotel is in a good location - middle of copacabana beach and close to all the major tourist attractions. The hotel itself is clean with friendly staff who provide with tourist information. The breakfast is good and room service is adequate.
