Tulip Inn Amsterdam Riverside Guest Reviews
We used public transport while in Holland and found the best way to reach the hotel from Amsterdam was the train to Weesp and the bus from the station to the Gaasp stop a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The route via metro that they recommend on their website is long and tedious and rather a long walk from the station to the hotel - not pleasant in bad weather!

The only drawback of this hotel is that it didn't appear to be easily reached by bus or tram and required a short walk along the side of a motorway to get there from the tram station. Said walk was, however, pretty straightfoward and in a straight line so there was no danger of getting lost... although I did.

Two points: One the hotel is a short walk from the metro station. To get there, take a left after you have gone down the stairs, and then straight on (following the path) until you get to the traffic lights. The hotel is then straight in front of you. Second, the service at the restaurant is very slow.

The hotel is very far from Amsterdam especially if you have to use public transport.It is quite far from the Metro stop.It may not be very safe to walk to the hotel from the Metro stop especially in winter Thr rooms were good and it had a good view
