Location
Located in the most modern area of the city of Valencia, close to the Oceanographic Park and the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (Arts and Sciences City), the Tryp Oceanic Hotel is only 500 meters from the harbor and 2 kilometres from the city center. I stayed at the Tryp Oceanic for about 4 nights in Nov. 2011. Check-in was easy as the front desk staff all speak English. I don't hardly speak any Spanish, and I had a very easy time at this hotel. They called cabs for us, told us the good places to eat near the beach, recommended places in the city to go, made sure there was availability on the train back to Madrid...and the best part is it was only 62 euros. The hotel is 5 minutes from the beach where all the restaurants are...and its within walking distance of the city of arts and sciences. I just looked for a new hotel at a reasonable price. The staff made this hotel extremely easy. I would definitely go back to Valencia and stay at this hotel.

This was an excellent hotel for the money. It was in a good location within easy travelling distance from both the beach and the city centre. The rooms were clean and tidy with everything in working order. The breakfast buffet was excellent with both hot and cold foods. The only critisism would be that the pool area was next to a building site and therefore noisy.

Clean business type hotel with pleasant efficient staff. Breakfasts excellent and wide variety. Location in new City where lots of building work on going. Excellent location for Arts & Science park and on doorstep of large department store. Taxis are fairly reasonably priced (4-7 euros for a one way trip to Port or Old City more if go to El Saler beach). Swimming pool and gym consists of 3 treadmills, an exercise bike and a stack of weights. Solarium is roof terrace-v hot!! We enjoyed our stay. We say perfect for trips.
