the booked room not available, reason being renovated.i was surprised because renovations are planned and planned jobs are not sold all over the world to be unavailable on arrival.felt unsatisfied,we book rooms by choice not upgrades. its unfortunately there was dust on every rail. if this hotel is owned by Trump, then he is fake.if they are using his name, they are not to standards at all. thank you for the dirty windows on 2902.ocean view yeah right!

First when I checked in the person behind the counter said that there were no rooms that she would upgrade us to a suite, which was fine but we were four and it only had one bed and white powder on a class table, I guest she didn't notice four people in front of her with bags when we checked in. We were switched to another room in a different building. Now this room had no covers on the bed and no bath mats, no iron or ironing board, mildew on the bath tiles and a peeling bathtub, holes in the shower curtain. some power outlets that didn't work . a pool that closes at 6:45pm. I asked for covers for the bed and a ironing board from housekeeping, I went to dinner and when came back there was a ironing board with a iron in the middle of the floor and covers for the bed in a plastic bag with a knot on the plastic that could not be taken out with a masters degree. I asked other people at the hotel and as the elevator stopped on the forth floor when the guy pressed the fifth he said " you see nothing works in this hotel I have to press the fifth floor so I can get to my room on the fourth floor". I hope you make your own mind but I rather stay on the sand . Trump is looking to sell this hotel and really doesnt care at all. GOOD LUCK.

We chose this room based off the great price we found here for the weekend we were staying. But if I am holding this room to the Donald's standards I was disappointed. The valet was solid and very speedy up to the room. Check in was fine and knowledgeable. The room is kinda where it feel apart. TV quality was lacking circa 1990's, dirt and garabge under the bed, windows had some built up crud on them and the bathroom where our room was you could hear the hot water heater crank up while someone else was taking a shower in another room. We did not partake in any of the hotels food services due to pricing, a few hotels within walking distance had better pricing. Would I go back... only if i found this rate again, it was $50 cheaper than any main casino on the strip. Otherwise I found this casino to be nothing special.

Didn't really expect too much since it cost less than $35 per night but surprisingly, it was pretty sweet.

When we arrived at the Trump Hotel the rooms were ready. Absolutely no problems with check in. The rooms were very clean. The view was PERFECT and so was the LOCATION. My daughter's 17th Birthday was a day to remember. She shared her room with friends, went shopping and was very happy. After check out, we left a set of keys at the hotel and notice after we were home. The hotel staff immediately secured our keys. We were so relieved. Over all this was a fantastic hotel stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was a bit disappointed at the hotel overall - it seemed run down and the 2 double bed room was rather small for me and my two friends. The room seemed kind of "sketchy'...not dirty, but there was a stain or two on the bed comforters and a candy wrapper on the floor I thought was a bug. The highlight of the stay was the location - fantastic! Right next to Caesar's and only about a block and a half from Bally's. The Wild Wild West Casino has a 24/7 happy hour which was awesome, and the Caesar casino was very clean and nice to be in. Atlantic City itself seemed sketchy, nothing like Vegas with the walk-able strip of hotels and touristy attractions; the streets were more residential and dimly lit scattered with liquor stores and strip clubs. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

What a sad state of affairs at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City. View of the ocean was nice.... Otherwise, just horrible. We were a group of 6 traveling together. Rooms were uncomfortably warm. One room... HVAC fan made a loud thumping noise all night. Another room had a circulating fan running in the room from some type of prior damage /odor. Room service on the weekends only?? Not on a Friday morning. Just horrible.

The room smelled a bit funny, but was comfortable and spacious. But we went to Roberto's located inside the hotel and it was the most horrible restaurant experience we've ever had. We sat at our table and waited 45 mins to get water....we left after that and went to bed starving. We went to complain and no one even cared in the slightest. All we wanted was to be able to eat something...nope. not here.

I remember the plaza being a lot nicer in years past. But AC in general has gone downhill, so i guess it's all relative. Anyway, the room was alright. Nothing great, but it was mostly clean and well kept. The TV went out a few times, which was annoying. For the price, i cant complain too much.

Overall, it was a nice experience. The location is very close to where we got off the bus (Caesars). There's a good view of sea. The room is clean although we had a little trouble when we checked in and the key was deactivated.

The room we had was ordinary yet quite comfortable. The staff was terrific and kept the room very clean. I didn't like being charged $12 to get on to their wireless, so I didn't pay for it. I used Starbucks downstairs.

After going to our room, we learned we were not assigned an Ocean View deluxe, which is what we had already paid for. We came back to the front desk immediately and the same agent that previously helped us had to call a Manager. During the call I heard the agent say "They have a a confirmation number," which tells me that this sort of room switching is a routine practice. They then tried to get us to take a smoking suite instead, telling us it was an "upgrade." Well I didn't fall for it, we paid for an Ocean View non-smoking deluxe room and that's what we wanted. Finally after some haggling we got an Ocean View room. Later, we discovered that this room had no hot water, so the process began again. Again, they insisted I settle for less than I had already paid for. I didn't. The manager found us a new room that "wasn't clean yet." The same Manager told us it would get it cleaned ASAP, and be ready within the hour. We left for four hours, came back, and the room still wasn't ready. The process started again. This time they told us there were no ocean view rooms available, and we had to wait longer or take a lower level room. When we asked for that same manager by name, a different agent miraculously found a room for us. I should then mention that one day only one elevator was working. The next day a different elevator worked, but it wouldn't let you exit on the lobby floor. This hotel is old. Don't expect new furniture, internet access, room amenities, or televisions. You will find better and newer rooms at a budget motel. I feel a Holiday Inn in the Bronx would put this place to shame. The in-hotel Restaurant was terrible. I would have rather had McDonald's. I will never stay at this hotel, or anything owned by Mr. Trump again. I warn you to stay somewhere else.

I never have anything bad to say about The Trump Plaza...that's why I keep coming back my family, and I had a very comfortable stay as usual. We'll be returning next year for a couple of stays what else could I say... we love it!

It was horrible when I arrived as they claimed that my reservation was not in their system. When i had shown them my confirmation! They stated that it was too late to call reservations and they asked me to pay one night and $100 dollar deposit fee! The manager was extremely rude and was not helpful at all! To later to find out that they had made a error on my name and never apologized for the inconvenience. Never will stay there again!
