Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff and the hotel were wonderful. Would definatley recommend it to others and would definatley stay again. We did try to a week later but they were fully booked. Not suprising really considering how good the hotel is!!

We had a short stay, which was a shame because we were upgraded to a lovely spacious suite. The hotel is conveniently halfway between O'Connell and Grafton Streets. The staff are friendly, although we found the bar service a little bit slow.

This is a mixed bag. I paid very little for this hotel, around $100 a night and got a terrific location. You're 5-10 minute walk from Trinity, and from Trinity you can walk to about 100 other amazing Dublin locations. As for the hotel I stayed on the fourth floor and the room was super hot even with the heat off. The internet wifi was mediocre at best, the room was not well lit and not that spacious. Its nothing memorable but simply a place to shower, sleep and head out. Worst part is that the hotel is adjacent to a fire station so get ready to hear it all!

Really liked the hotel. It was very convenient and close to the centre of Dublin, at the side of Trinity College. It was also only a couple of hundred yards from the airport bus stop. Good amenities in the Hotel, good value for money in the resturant and the bar was excellent. Excellent breakfast. Minor problem at check in but soon sorted out, would definitely go back again and would recommend it to anyone

Restaurant (Cafe Cairo) and reception have great atmosphere, funky decor and the history is given for the building and surroundings. Very comfortable room with lovely decor-- one irritating feature--like many Irish hotels, the hair dryer cannot be used in the bathroom, but where the dryer was:..attached, in the desk, did not allow for a mirror with any kind of light to actually do your hair.--Especially since there was a very large mirror in the entrance( which was lit up properly) which could have been used if the dryer were not attached. Not very good planning and easily remedied-- just allow the hair dryers free rein!!

Arrived early due to flight schedules but hotel allowed us to get our check in done even though the room was not ready and then we were able to leave our bags at the hotel so we could start exploring Dublin. Great location near all major attractions and shopping. Got back to the hotel at 3pm but the room still was not ready so the hotel upgraded us to a new room. Very nice room and very comfortable...only complaint about the room was the lighting was very dim through out the room...too low even for comfortable reading. But the restaurant in the hotel was fantastic for dinner...first class.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and eager to make our stay perfect. An earlier reviewer described the place "like falling down the rabbit hole" as the decor is a litlle trippy.....but when you are out and about all day and night in the city, who really cares? What makes this hotel a great place is the location. You are a 5 to 10 minute walk to anything. To Temple Bar, Grafton Street, St Stephens, River Liffy, Tara Street Station for the DART line. Bus stops for the links to the airport or to the hop on//hop off bus are both just 5min away. There is a SPAR right around the corner. ONLY drawback is it is above the firestation, but to us it was an added charm! We will go back for sure.

Got a great price for the Trinity Capital Hotel for Christmas Shopping in Dublin 2010. It was a very cold weekend with the recent snow etc and I found this hotel so warm and comfy the bathrooms are a little dated but the beds were great!! The breakfast on the Sunday morning for 9.95 was gorgeous and so fresh for a buffet breakfast. Would definitely recommend it and would stay here again!! Good value for money!!

We used to stay here a few years ago, until the prices became too high. Now that they're come down again, this is still a fine hotel, with a distinct personality and very easy walking access to all the city centre spots.

This was my second visit to Trinity Capital. It is a truly amazing hotel. The beds are soooooo comfy, the ambience is awesome. Location, staff, facilities, etc etc Great! Everything just works, so well, that you don't notice, it just happens around you, quietly, no fuss, no fanfares. Staying here is an experience to be repeated as often as you can. My thanks to everyone, wowsers!!!!

This was q great disqppointment. From the time I qrrived things went wrong. The first electronic key did not work. The toilet seqt was broken. They hqd no qdqptors. There were not enough newspqpers at breakfast qnd we hqd to fight over them. The internet instructions in the hotel book did not mqtch whqt was offered. The stqff tried to help, but there seemed to be a shortqge. They offered to chqnge my room if I came bqck at lunch: when I came bqck the room was not ready. It was q reql problem for me and I would not go there qgqin despite the good locqtion. Good breqkfqst though.

Stayed for 11 nights. Compact but comfortable room. I was located at the back of the hotel so it was quiet. Central location. Great value for money. I would return.

Very nice hoel. Location is perfect -- walking distance to city centre and also Grafton Street/Trinity College. Rates are about avarage but with current prices I would expect breakfast included in the price. Braekfast was excellent. The rooms were lovely but the bathroom could do with a better finish/clean especially the floor -- slightly off the level set by other hotels. Staff were nice but a little disorganised. My wake up call was 15mins late and I was charged for 2 extra breakfasts on checkout. Therefore this nice hotel needs a little extra to meet the level of surrounding hotels.

Friendly, very helpful staff. Great location in the centre of Dublin and within easy walking distance of most of Dublins visitor attractions. Good clean room. Bar and food in the hotel reasonable for Dublin. Very good breakfast.

Unusual decor! A little bit of everything and very exotic. Lots of purple and maroon. Rooms where ok. Good TV and lots of channels. Old rooms worked better for me as I liked the storage in the old rooms better than the new. Location was good. A short walk to most places. Staff very good and friendly. Fire station next door did cause noise during the evening. Beds are firm but good. Bar in hotel is nice and the food in the restaurant was ok but not cheap. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choice.
