Trinity Capital Hotel Dublin Guest Reviews
Really liked the hotel. It was very convenient and close to the centre of Dublin, at the side of Trinity College. It was also only a couple of hundred yards from the airport bus stop. Good amenities in the Hotel, good value for money in the resturant and the bar was excellent. Excellent breakfast. Minor problem at check in but soon sorted out, would definitely go back again and would recommend it to anyone

Restaurant (Cafe Cairo) and reception have great atmosphere, funky decor and the history is given for the building and surroundings. Very comfortable room with lovely decor-- one irritating feature--like many Irish hotels, the hair dryer cannot be used in the bathroom, but where the dryer was:..attached, in the desk, did not allow for a mirror with any kind of light to actually do your hair.--Especially since there was a very large mirror in the entrance( which was lit up properly) which could have been used if the dryer were not attached. Not very good planning and easily remedied-- just allow the hair dryers free rein!!

Arrived early due to flight schedules but hotel allowed us to get our check in done even though the room was not ready and then we were able to leave our bags at the hotel so we could start exploring Dublin. Great location near all major attractions and shopping. Got back to the hotel at 3pm but the room still was not ready so the hotel upgraded us to a new room. Very nice room and very comfortable...only complaint about the room was the lighting was very dim through out the room...too low even for comfortable reading. But the restaurant in the hotel was fantastic for dinner...first class.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and eager to make our stay perfect. An earlier reviewer described the place "like falling down the rabbit hole" as the decor is a litlle trippy.....but when you are out and about all day and night in the city, who really cares? What makes this hotel a great place is the location. You are a 5 to 10 minute walk to anything. To Temple Bar, Grafton Street, St Stephens, River Liffy, Tara Street Station for the DART line. Bus stops for the links to the airport or to the hop on//hop off bus are both just 5min away. There is a SPAR right around the corner. ONLY drawback is it is above the firestation, but to us it was an added charm! We will go back for sure.
