The heat is tempered in Black Rock by the ocean breeze. The average high summer temperature is 34ºC (93ºF), and the air remains fairly humid, at around 85 percent. Around 2,100 mm (83 inches) of rain falls yearly.
Getting There & Around
Before you head for Black Rock, be aware that you need to have a valid passport, a return ticket and proof that you can support yourself while you are there. The Piarco International Airport on the nearby island of Trinidad is the closest airport. A boat trip then takes visitors to Tobago.
Visitors get around town by taxi, public bus system and car.
