This hotel is in a perfect location for us. It is close to Wynyard station for trains and buses and an easy walk to Circular Quay, the Opera House and the shops. The room we had was very comfortable with a good sized bed, 2 armchairs and a desk. There are plenty of drawers and the bed is very comfortable, as are the pillows. The air conditioning was nice a cool too. The only negative is that the bathroom is quite small but when you think of value for money it's a minor issue.

We stayed 3 nights at the Travelodge Wynyard in Jan 2013. Very well located - 10 mins walk to Circlular Quay or the Rocks and in the city close to everywhere. Wynyard Street Station is only 50 mtrs away as well - it is only 6 stops to the Domestic or International Airport from there on the train which was also very handy (costs about $15.00 per person one way). There is a Coles supermarket downstairs at Wynyard station by the way and a bottle shop across the park and road in Carrington Street. The rooms were quite large, king size bed, tv etc as well as a fridge/mini bar and were clean and tidy. We booked online and get the full breakfast deal as well which was very good each morning and available from 6:30am - 10.00am at the hotel. They also have internet access via computers in the lobby which was handy. All in all, a good location and I guess reasonable value for central Sydney CBD.

Comfortable bedroom with two double beds! Friendly staff. Altogether great value for a hotel worthy of its four stars. The internet rates too high perhaps but not relevant as we wanted to be away from such technology for a restful holiday!

We travel from WA to Sydney to support our state sporting teams. We can get from the airport to Travelodge Wynyard by rail , take the short walk and enjoy all the comforts of the CBD. The staff provide excellent service, are helpful and very informative of services in and around Sydney. This is our fourth time and will not be our last. Highly recommended for travelling families especially with Car Hire facility nearby to escape the city if you need too! Trevor Welsh (Melville WA)

Really enjoyed our stay. So convenient for access from airport close to station. room very comfortable, breakfast great. Staff great. Hotel corridors and lift need a facelift not much in the way of amenities but who spends much time in hotel when in sydney and at such a good price for the location it suited our needs perfectly.
