At first I thought this motel was a little distant from the heart of the city until we were shown the walking track around the harbour leading right into the centre of Victoria. Lovely and easy walk. This motel has great pool which is best used in the morning when it is quiet. The gym equipment is limited but average with a good treadmill. Rooms are very clean and quiet. The bar is a bit average but the staff are very friendly here and the food is satisfying and good value. Vancouver and Victoria can be pricey. A must is the Butchart Gardens - do not miss it.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff and service are great. It is an excellent deal for the price and the location. It's an older building but they are doing the best they can with it. They have made up for the quality of a 1950s design with a lot of comfort and great service.
