The hotel had a super clean swimming pool, but that's the best I can say. The staff didn't want to do business with me except through the outside window, but when I came back another day I saw 2 white customers inside doing their check in. That offended me. The toliet had a "man made" lid which seemed to have urine stains and the shower water took 15 minutes to get warm. The tv only caught 20 channels, but Nick was one of them so I can't complain. Otherwise, it's ok for only sleeping.

This is not the place to be putting your wife and kids in. I stayed here for three nights while on business. My room was old, grungy and smelled like a musty old folks retirement home. The management personnel were stone cold. The last evening I stayed here I was awoken at 3 am to guests fighting next door to my room; doors slamming, someone punched a door and a man actually screamed: "is this what f***ing crack heads do?... Follow people from the streets?". At this point I had decided I had heard enough. I showered, gathered my things and left the hotel at 4:30 am as I could not stand being there any longer. It is really that bad. Fort Lauderdale Police regularly patrol the hotel to run license plates and keep an eye on guest activity. Located along a very busy street next to a wonderful grocery store and a variety of fastfood chains. Everything else is just awful.

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel that has a hot shower and air conditioning and a clean bed. I got what I paid for. The hotel wasn't much to look at. It was cheap not glamorous. The other guests at the hotel were tight wades like me; some looked a little ganster-ish. The desk staff is all oriental. My room was cleaned everyday and I got fresh towels. Breakfast (cheap bagels, OJ, coffee, cereal, and milk) was provided in the main lobby. None of my possessions were stolen. The room had good locks and a safe in the room. There was a refrigerator. It had WiFi. The TV had HBO but the batteries on the remote control must have been weak or something because it didn't work very well on changing channels or volume. In the neighborhood there was a market across the street to buy food and several places to eat at in the area. There is a rental car place (Enterprise?) a block away as well. Two miles from the beach. About a $20 taxi ride from the airport. Compared with the cost of the other hotels in the area I feel the dollar per day ratio was great. If you are about saving money were you can and not looking like your rich or impressive I would say it's the place to stay.
