Travelodge Bankstown

From the moment we made the initial booking online to our check-in and departure the standard has more than met our expectation. It was our first time there and we found that we had everything within our finger tips, from cafes, quality restaurants and entertainment. On behalf of myself and My Partner, we sincerely thank you for your hospitality and look forward to returning in due course.

Well located in the heart of Bankstown. Staff were excellent. There are six restaurants within the complex. We ate Chinese one night which was excellent in both value and quantity. The only shortcoming was dinner in the Bistro the second night where the food was not a great quality although portions were large. Disabled parking was at a minimum and parking in general was available but located some distance from Reception. House keeping was obviously extremely busy with our room not being made up until well into the afternoon.

This hotel is great to get friends together and have a drink without worrying about drinking and driving, you have everything under one roof.

Hotel room itself was nice, clean, spacious enough and comfortable. it was quiet and pleasant. however, the location is about an HOUR train ride away from the city center, making it extremely inconvenient. also, the hotel is housed with a casino - and not classy vegas style, but dirthole Old vegas style. plus the lobby always smelled like skunk. We chose this place because it was the cheapest place we could find during the peak new year season. Again, service and room itself were fine, but location and building make this an unattractive choice.

God value, part of a sports club, i.e, casino type gambling with strict rules, good dining. Close to Sydney rail station 'Bankstown'.

On arrival I was just expecting a little motel. When I learnt about the restaurants and nightlife downstairs it made for quite a wonderful night. Had a great stay!!!

Suited the purpose when attending a function downstairs. Having a double bed against the wall was not ideal! Clean and tidy so no real issue overall

I was appalled after a 10hr work day that I had to park my car in the furthest parking space left due to the Hotels affiliated social night activites. In a multistory car park, there should be an area reserved for just the guests. Not allow open general public parking. That noted the reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful both in the evening and morning.

The Travelodge was great, the staff were friendly. It was a little difficult early the next morning when the club it is attached to was closed and I was at the mercy of the Security Guards to re-enter the building. A room card scanner to override the outer door locks would be an asset.

The hotel is adequate but does not provide the services expected by the price. Fortunately it is above a Sports Club so cheap meals can be obtained. I only chose it as I was attending a function in the club.
