Nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms. Close walking distance to city centre and Trafalgar sports centre. Would stay again.

We try to stay at Trailways every time we go to Nelson these days as we find it very convenient, comfortable and in an attractive position being alongside the Maitai River. We have been there many times over the last 10 - 12 years. It is quite unique, being a smallish hotel but with an excellent restaurant and bar onsite. With Trailways being sited in Nelson City it is close to everything you need and places to visit. We find Trailways a relaxing place to stay. I am aware space is limited there but a larger pool would enhance the venue - for me. Hopefully we will return in the near future.
