The hotel was nice. Staff were very triendly. Room could have been cleaner.

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend in early November, 2011. The season was slow but the hotel was fully operational, staff was adequate and we felt welcome right away. Because of the slow season we were offered very affordable upgrade to the ocean view suite and it was fantastic. However - all suites are large, with kitchenette and plenty of room. Nice central location in St.Pete Beach with plenty of restaurants around within walking distance.If we ever in St.Pete Beach again this is the hotel we would try to get in.

The hotel staff is awesome! Right from Carmen at the the front desk, Doug too!, The rooms are well appointed & very clean. The beach staff, Ed is great! They are always cleaning the grounds. Great vacation to just relax. Not many dining options on site, however, plenty within walking distance. Very little night life, at least in the off season. I'm sure in season is much more lively.

My sister and I booked a last minute trip to The Tradewinds Sandpiper and weren't disappointed! The adult's only pool and hottub was so relaxing and the view from the cabanna- phenomenal! The staff were friendly and went out of their way to meet our needs!
