Everything works out well for me since I just stayed in the hotel for the overnight layover in Hong Kong. I can easily find a local restaurant nearby the hotel for dinner. The hotel provides bus shuttle to HK international airport with a reasonable fare.

My stay in Traders Hotel Hong Kong was wonderful right from the moment I stepped into the lobby I was greeted with a warm welcome, my stay was faultless and the location, although many people say its too far away I liked it because it was a nice walk from Sheung Wan along busy streets of locals going about there business.There are plenty of eating options and supermarkets nearby. If you are too lazy just jump on a tram and it will take you 1 block from the hotel .Too easy.

Location is ... challenging. The MTR will get there someday, but for now, it's a little remote. Interesting neighborhood, though. The toilet in our room seemed not to flush. Housekeeping came right away and demonstrated a sort of pumping action one had to perform on the handle to build up the pressure required for a flush. Like this was normal or something. I thought she was joking. Sadly, no. The staff were excellent. Can't say enough about the people.

Nice newly refurbished rooms. Good location with many places to eat near hotel and not far from airport bus stop or short taxi ride to the HK Airport Express train station. Had some problems with the air conditioner control panel so it was stuck on full fan blowing cold air out all night and would not turn off.
