Stayed here several times and found it to be excellent value for money with friendly and efficient service. Not the best location for many of the tourist attractions but the pluses outweigh that.

Traders Cafe dinner buffet is a rip off. Food is everything but good. Sodas are stale and a pathetic spread of dishes. At 170 RMB (about 20USD) not a bargain. Otherwise very good hotel. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Very polite and well mannered.

Being a member of the "Golden Circle" I was upgraded to a suite. Compared to the Shangra La in Qindoa, there is no comparison. Feel the rooms are over priced for what you get. Didn''t have a bad experience, but wouldn''t stay there again.

Traders is a typical Western-style business hotel; part of the Shangri-la chain; it''s attached to the China World Trade Center and Shopping Mall; it''s a very nice hotel, and the staff is extremely helpful.

The location of the Traders Hotel is perfect. I had several meetings at the adjoining World Trade Tower I and Tower II where many multinational corporations'' representative offices were located and I could walk to the office buildings without being exposed to the cold weather outside. <BR><BR> The staff''s attitude was nice and the room was clean and comfortable.
