good hotel close to OR Tambo airport. Good breakfast, etc. Surroundings is not good as there is nothing to see/do around, which is OK as it is close to the airport. They should say they have airport shuttle as no where it is expressed.

Close to O.R. Tambo, so it's a fine hotel when you just have to stay a night over. Shuttle bus service available (± ZAR 100 return).

It is rated as a South African 2 star hotel. I have stayed in worse 4 star hotels. It is well located for a overnight stay after a long haul trip. Service was impeccable.

Town Lodge has comfortable, well-appointed rooms at a budget price. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the service is good. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The only thing which lets it down is having no lunch or dinner service. There are take-away menus in the room and these deliver a wide choice of good food, but sometimes the wait can be long so the food is not always as hot as it should be on arrival, and don't order a dessert with ice-cream: all courses are delivered together, so it'll be melted by the time you eat it. However, overall the hotel is good value and comfortable.
