Spent 4days here early march 2009 excellent.Dinner in the cafe royal each evening superb.

This is not a five star hotel. It is at very best a shabby 4 star hotel in need of an update. The staff are surly and unhelpful especially on the front desk. The Spa was poor and overpriced. Good quality breakfast and fairly clean but don't expect five star luxury.

the hotel was excellent, however i feel that it may need a little of a redecorating in arts. the carpets need replacing in the room we stayed in. little details like that, however this did not make the stay any les enjoyable.

Only stayed a night but the room was lovely although I imagine could be quite noisy in the summer months as very close to a busy road.
