the hotel was clean and well located. We felt perfectly safe in this area at all times. The room was small, but with a full bathroom - perfectly adequate for two. The price was great. It was an easy walk to the alcazar and cathedral, there were many restaurants in the area. The bus from the airport left us about a 15 min walk from the hotel. It was an easy 15 min walk to the train/bus station. The beach was quite nice - about a 20 min walk. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful.

Location was difficult to find when we first arrived in Almeria by car. The one way street system was confusing, and we eventually had to park and enquire and then walk there. As it turned out we were quite close but had driven away from the hotel due to lack of signage. Once we found it and got car parked (offsite car park rather awkward with suitcases)the hotel was ideally centrally located. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The accommodation was great and very reasonable, so much so we decided to stay an extra night!! Th restaurant was excellent with very good breakfast included and evening meal very well served and presented.

The hotel was nice and quiet. Its location on Plaza Flores was ok. I did get a reduced price for my second stay and an upgrade to Torreluz 3. A nice touch. The only bad thing is that I my flight home was at 8pm and I couldnt get to keep my room after 1pm even though I offered to pay for it and the fact that the hotel was half empty. I have worked in hotels for years in Ireland and have always facilitated late checkouts for guests.
