As a 2 star goes this was really good value. The room was big enough, the beds comfortable and the bedding clean and fresh. Staff were generally very pleasant. Both the rooms we rented had good air conditioning as well as huge opening windows, double glazed to protect you from the street. The room also included tea and coffee making facilities as well as TV and a safe at no charge tucked inside the wardrobe. The bathroons are a design disaster but bear in mind this is a very old building, the main problem being the lack or accessability to a very small shower stall. You have to be a very thin and very bendy person to get yourself into the shower stall around two glass doors which open out against the toilet. Again though, clean and modern and with complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was not included in our rate and costs 10 Euros. It is a basic continental breakfast and to be honest we found a lovely wholefood coffee shop and bakery around the corner and had a fantastic breakfast for 12 Euros. The area itself is great with lots of elegant shops and side street brasseries. It is a business district so is reasonably quiet at weekends, is a short walk to the Louvre and whilst the nearest Metro Station is Bourse, I would recommend the 5 minutes walk to Chatelet/Les Halles for convenience of access to other areas of Paris. You arte also around 5 minutes walk from the large Forum Les Halles underground shopping centre. All these things are about personal taste. I would say as a two star this place is hard to beat and I would stay there again quite happilly

I booked this hotel based on a deal and it because it was cheaper yet more central than many of the other hotels in central Paris. Overall, the hotel was decent but the rooms, even by European standards, were very small. We couldn't open the door to the bathroom all the way or the doors to the cupboard without bumping into the bed. Also, the room doors have no slowing mechanism so they all slam and we could hear slamming doors in the hallway. The staff was nice though and it was in a nice location.

This 2 star hotel was as good as or better than a number of 3 star hotels I've stayed in in Paris. I would stay again at the HotelClub price (but not at the regular price, which is too high.)

Hotel location is good but the hotel is a bit old. Easy to Walk to Opera & Louver area. Facilites is ok but the shower room is a bit small.

Reception was very friendly and spoke English. Rooms were small and the shower was tiny but they were clean. No fridge and no English speaking channels on the television. Breakfast was okay, plenty of food not much variety. The hotel is in a fantastic location for the Louve and metro.

Really centrally located in the heart of Paris. Poor sound isolation between rooms, so you wake up when your neighbour goes to bathroom.

Nice hotel in a good location, about 5 minutes walk to the Louvre, close to the Metro and right in the centre of Paris. Reasonably priced for the location and for a city regarded as expensive. Clean, comfortable and friendly service.

A great location makes up for the tiny room and noisiness. We appreciated the supply of a very early breakfast.
