Great hotel in terrific location and easy to get to (take Metro to Gare St. Lazare, and you are diagonally opposite the hotel). Don't be put off by the 2-star designation - it's far better than most 3-star Paris hotels I have been in.

The hotel is in a very busy part of Paris - at time of check in was told elevator was being repaired and would be ready the next day - we were on the 7th floor - was offered another room that was not as good, but the lift would be ready the next day anyway. After 3 days of trugging up and down 7 flights of stairs the lift was still not fixed - not impressed. The room was very small - the shower you had to turn sideways to get in and out of - however the bed was extremely comfortable.

The location is excellent and the breakfast is simple but good. The rooms are very small (and the bathrooms too) and some rooms don´t receive enough sun light. The staff is very kind and helpful
