The showers were very poor. Heaters were inadequate and we came back to find our windows open with the cold coming in. There was personal items which could have been taken by anyone walking in.

2 BR apartment unit a little dated, BRs very small with minimal/nil wardrobe space. However, very clean and tidy, nil traffic noise at night owing to location giving very quiet sleeping conditions. Staff very hospitable and helpful.

Needed candles for a prolonged power outage! yes, had to happen - in the street the Timandra is on when we were in New Plymouth for a night. Power company seems to have R&M at a low priority in the budget. The Timandra motel has pleasant grounds in a quiet residential park-like area.
